Rhino Linings® FAQ
(Frequently Asked Questions)
- » What's so special about Rhino Linings?
- Rhino Linings is the only company that actually develops and controls
manufacturing of its own material, guaranteeing consistent and reliable
products with the highest quality control. The material is design to dry
to the touch in a manner of seconds which allows an even distribution of
material (i.e. the peak, valleys, and vertical surfaces are even thickness
without runs or sags). Additionally, Rhino Linings uses a high temperature,
high pressure system that yields a durable factory looking finish. We also
offer a Nationwide Limited Lifetime Warranty serviceable at over 800 Rhino
Linings dealerships.
- » How much does it cost?
- There are a variety of options that influence the pricing of your new
truck bed lining such as the size of the vehicle and type of application.
As each dealership is independently owned and operated, prices will vary.
with
questions regarding pricing, available colors and scheduling your application.
- » Can I take it out?
- Rhino Linings are designed as permanent protection for your vehicle.
The lining performs so well that almost no one has ever wanted or needed
it removed.
- » How thick is it?
- In truck beds, the liner is sprayed on up to 1/4" on
the floor and 1/8" on walls. For other applications, the lining can
be sprayed on as thick as necessary.
- » What about the other accessories on my truck?
- Accessories are best installed after the lining is applied. You should
pre-drill all holes then have your Rhino Lining sprayed on to
seal exposed edges before mounting accessories such as a fifth wheel hitch.
The linings follow the contours of your pick-up, allowing you to install
campers, shells, or any other accessory that was made to fit your truck.
If you have an accessory whose installation tolerance is less than 1/4",
please be sure to discuss it with us when scheduling your application.
- » Will the drain holes in my truck bed still be
open?
- Yes, one of the advantages of Rhino Linings over a drop-in is your truck's
natural drainage system remains as designed. You don't get that splash
the first time you go down the road after a big rain or get the big ice
cube frozen in the back in the winter!
- » How long does it take?
- Typically about 3 hours.
- » Can I use my truck right away?
- Yes, Rhino Linings sets up in a about 3-5 seconds so it will definitely
be ready to go when you pick up your truck. Wait about 24 hours for heavy
duty use to allow it to fully cure.
- » Will the bed feel hotter than the rest of my truck?
- No, due to the fact that Rhino Linings is bonded to the metal of your
truck allowing efficient heat transfer (i.e. no thermos effect compared
to a drop-in) it actually "feels" cooler than the metal on your
truck on a hot day.
- » Is Rhino Linings repairable?
- Yes, if you damage your truck, your local Rhino Linings Dealer can make
seamless repairs.
- » Does Rhino Linings come in colors?
- Yes, Rhino Linings comes in virtually any color you'd like. In addition
to black linings, red, gray, green and blue linings are often standard
at Rhino Linings dealerships. Linings can also be custom pigmented to match
your color specifications.
- » Can I get a customized surface texture?
- Yes! Rhino Linings can be sprayed to achieve a surface
texture to your specifications.
- » Will the lining hold up in very rugged conditions and in temperature
extremes?
- Yes! Rhino Linings will not warp, crack, peel or split because of weather
or other environmental factors. Rhino Linings works and looks great in
temperatures between -40 degrees F and 190 degrees F.
- » What other applications can RHINO LININGS be used for?
- Rhino Linings can be applied to virtually any properly prepared surface.
Where there is a need for a durable protective coating Rhino Linings can
be used. Some ideal examples are jeeps, vans, commercial trucks, semi tractors
and trailers, within commercial buildings and on industrial equipment -
the list goes on.
- » Is there a product warranty?

for as long as you own the vehicle for peeling, blistering, flaking, bubbling
or other workmanship issues. If you happen to move, the warranty is covered
by our extensive network of over 800 dealers nationwide. If you'd like
